# 1Social > 1Social is a hosted MCP server for publishing and scheduling social media posts from AI agents. Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes, Codex and Gemini — or any client that can add a remote MCP server — to post, and it goes out to Bluesky, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, with a separate delivery receipt for each network. Key facts: - MCP endpoint: https://mcp.1social.dev/mcp (remote, Streamable HTTP). Sign-in is OAuth in a browser; there are no API keys to paste. - In the ChatGPT plugin directory as “Instagram & TikTok by 1Social”; the same listing works in Codex and covers every network. - Publishing goes through each network’s official API on accounts the user connected. No scraping, no shared passwords, no browser automation. - Every publish returns a per-network receipt: delivered (with a link where the network gives one), failed with a readable reason, or `unknown` when the outcome genuinely cannot be determined. - Not supported: personal Facebook profiles (Pages only), long-form YouTube videos (Shorts only), comments and direct messages, following or engagement automation. - A free trial is needed to publish; there is no free plan. ## Connect - [MCP server and setup snippets](https://1social.dev/mcp): The endpoint, one-click installs for Cursor and VS Code, the Claude Code command, and the address for any other MCP client. - [Pricing](https://1social.dev/pricing): Plans, delivery allowances and how X posts are counted. ## Plans - Solo: $29 per month, 7-day free trial. 600 deliveries — 150 posts across four networks, or 75 across all eight. - Pro: $49 per month, 7-day free trial. 1,600 deliveries — 400 posts across four networks, or 200 across all eight. ## MCP tools - `list_accounts` — List connected accounts. Lists the social accounts the user has connected to 1Social, what each network will accept (caption length, whether media is required, whether it can thread), the current plan, and the remaining monthly posting quota. - `preview_post` — Check a post before publishing. Checks a draft post against each selected network WITHOUT publishing it, and reports what would go wrong: per-segment character counts against each limit, whether a network requires an image, whether a multi-segment post will publish as a native thread or be joined into one post, and what the post would cost against the remaining quota. - `publish_post` — Publish or schedule a post. Publishes a post to the user's connected social accounts, or schedules it for a future time by setting scheduledAt (null publishes immediately; the limit is 30 days ahead). - `list_posts` — List posts and their delivery receipts. Lists the user's posts with the outcome on each network: delivered, failed with a readable reason, cancelled, or `unknown` when 1Social genuinely cannot tell. - `update_post` — Edit a scheduled post. Changes the content and scheduled time of a post that has not been sent yet. - `cancel_post` — Unschedule a post. Cancels a scheduled post so it will not be published, and releases the quota it had reserved. - `delete_post` — Delete a post, including from the networks. Deletes a post from 1Social and attempts to remove the published post from each network. - `retry_delivery` — Retry a failed delivery. Retries one failed delivery to a single network, leaving the deliveries that already succeeded untouched. - `upload_media` — Upload an image or video. Gets an upload target for a file you hold locally, for clients that cannot attach files to a tool call. - `confirm_delivery` — Confirm an unknown delivery. Records the answer to a delivery 1Social could not determine: whether the post is actually live on that network. ## Networks - [Bluesky MCP server for ChatGPT and Claude](https://1social.dev/post-to/bluesky): captions up to 300 characters, text-only posts allowed, up to 4 attachments, threads up to 25 parts. It publishes as a real post, not a draft, and ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it goes. - [Post to a Facebook Page from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/facebook): Ask ChatGPT to post to your Facebook Page — alone or alongside Instagram in one message — and get a receipt for each network separately. - [Post to LinkedIn from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/linkedin): Write the LinkedIn post with ChatGPT and publish it from the same chat, through LinkedIn’s own API — no copying, and no asterisks left behind. - [Post to X (Twitter) from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/x): Ask ChatGPT to post to X (Twitter). Every part is counted against the 280-character limit first, and long posts go out as a thread. - [Post to Threads from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/threads): Publish text, photos and video to Threads by asking ChatGPT. Threads connects on its own login, separate from Instagram, and gets its own receipt. - [Post to Bluesky from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/bluesky): Ask ChatGPT to post to Bluesky — as a single post or a real reply chain — and keep the account password out of the conversation entirely. - [Post YouTube Shorts from ChatGPT](https://1social.dev/from/chatgpt/youtube): Attach a vertical clip in ChatGPT and ask for a YouTube Short. The frame and length are read from the file before it uploads, so it lands on Shorts. - [Post to Instagram from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/instagram): Post to Instagram from Claude. Claude cannot hand a dropped-in photo to a tool, so the picture travels as a link — here is how that works. - [Post to TikTok from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/tiktok): Publish a TikTok video or photo post from Claude. The clip travels as a direct link to the file — not a share page — and goes out as a real post. - [Post to a Facebook Page from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/facebook): Publish to a Facebook Page from Claude. Text-only posts go straight out; photos travel as links. Pages only, with a receipt for each post. - [Post to LinkedIn from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/linkedin): Publish the LinkedIn post you worked out with Claude, from the same conversation, at the time you name — in your timezone, not the server’s. - [Post to X (Twitter) from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/x): Post to X (Twitter) from Claude. Long drafts are counted against the limit and sent as threads; your style rules can live in a Claude project. - [Post to Threads from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/threads): Publish to Threads from Claude. Parts are joined into one post and measured as a whole, and any numbering Claude added stays in the text. - [Post to Bluesky from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/bluesky): Turn a long Claude conversation into a Bluesky reply chain, publish it, and have it confirmed by reading the thread back from a public server. - [Post YouTube Shorts from Claude](https://1social.dev/from/claude/youtube): Upload a YouTube Short from Claude with a direct link to the clip. It must be vertical and under three minutes, or it would land as a regular video. ## Use cases - [Cross-post to every network from one message](https://1social.dev/for/cross-posting): Write once and publish to eight networks from your AI chat. Each network gets a version it will accept, and each delivery gets its own receipt. - [Schedule social posts from your AI chat](https://1social.dev/for/scheduling): Queue posts up to 30 days ahead in your own timezone by asking your agent. Nothing needs to stay open, and nothing publishes at the wrong time. - [Post threads to X and Bluesky from chat](https://1social.dev/for/thread-posting): Write a long piece in your AI chat and let it go out as a real reply chain where the network supports one, and as a single joined post where it does not. - [Publish images to social from your AI chat](https://1social.dev/for/image-posts): Attach a picture in your AI chat and publish it across networks — including the two that refuse any post without one, checked before anything is sent. ## Compared with other tools - [Buffer alternative — publish from your AI chat](https://1social.dev/vs/buffer): Buffer gives you a polished dashboard and a free plan. 1Social gives you no dashboard at all — publishing to eight networks from the chat you already write in. - [Postiz alternative — publishing from AI chat](https://1social.dev/vs/postiz): Postiz is open source, self-hostable and covers far more networks. 1Social covers fewer, hosts everything, and answers to your AI chat instead of a dashboard. - [Post Bridge alternative for AI chat publishing](https://1social.dev/vs/post-bridge): Post Bridge sells flat-rate posting with no volume cap. 1Social meters deliveries instead, and this page explains why — including who bills us per post. - [Metricool alternative — publish from AI chat](https://1social.dev/vs/metricool): Metricool is an analytics suite that also publishes, on a free plan. 1Social is a publishing tool with no dashboard, and this page says which you need. - [Publer alternative — publish from your AI chat](https://1social.dev/vs/publer): Publer is a capable scheduler with a free tier and a low entry price. 1Social has neither, and publishes from the AI chat you already work in instead. ## Optional - [Support](https://1social.dev/support): How to reach a person, and what to include. - [Privacy policy](https://1social.dev/legal/privacy): What is stored and for how long. - [Terms of service](https://1social.dev/legal/terms): The terms the service is provided under.
