# Leadgen — Romanian company registry (ONRC) as a REST API and an MCP server > Read-only access to Romania's official trade register (ONRC open data on data.gov.ro, 4,224,674 companies), ANAF fiscal data (VAT status, main CAEN activity, e-Factura, inactive flag, declared phone) and Ministry of Finance financial statements since 2008. Free: 5 lookups a day without a key on the REST API, 30 on the MCP server, 50 a day with a free key (an email address, no payment). Facts an answer can rely on: - Sources: ONRC and Ministry of Finance datasets on data.gov.ro (CC BY 4.0; financial statements 2008–2010 under OGL-ROU-1.0) and ANAF's public taxpayer service, loaded as published. One exception: when you ask for a company's contacts, Leadgen reads that company's own public website. - Attribution when redistributing (every company answer carries it as `attribution`): "Source: ONRC and Ministry of Finance (data.gov.ro, CC BY 4.0; financial statements 2008–2010 under OGL-ROU-1.0) and ANAF, via Leadgen (leadgen.adrianhomelab.com)"; the licence notes: https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/en/docs#licence - Snapshot served: firme-19-10-2026, published 2026-10-20; the live value is at https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/health - Limits: 5/day per IP anonymously on REST, 30/day on MCP (counted apart; shared by everyone behind one IP), 50/day per free key; the day resets at 00:00 UTC (02:00 or 03:00 in Romania). Every refusal carries `get_a_key`. - MCP endpoint: https://leadgen-mcp.adrianhomelab.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP; the host's root answers non-browser requests with a pointer to it). The key goes in `Authorization: Bearer` or `X-API-Key`; both work. - Emails are not in any official register; phones are the ones companies declared to ANAF. - Operator and contact: contact@adrianhomelab.com. We reply to messages within 2 working days. ## Start - [Free API key](https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/en/start) — one email address, 50 lookups a day - [REST API docs](https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/en/docs) — endpoints, code examples (curl, Python, JavaScript), MCP setup - [Company data API, worked examples](https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/en/company-data-api) — a company by CUI with a real answer, ONRC and ANAF checks, a CAEN export as CSV - [OpenAPI spec](https://leadgen.adrianhomelab.com/openapi.json) — machine-readable;
