# AgingResearch.News > AgingResearch.News is the superintelligence for aging research. It reads every new paper, weighs the evidence, cites every claim and fits a feed to your work. More than 8 million research papers came out in 2025, over 22,000 a day (articles, reviews and preprints in every field; OpenAlex), and no one can read them all. AgingResearch.News, the superintelligence for aging research, reads every new paper in PubMed, bioRxiv and medRxiv, every new biology and biomedical computing paper on arXiv, every new paper on Research Square and other preprint servers, and the journals whose articles no longer reach PubMed. Each paper goes before its journal club of specialised AI models and agents. The judge scores its relevance to human aging from what its own work shows, not from its vocabulary: why aging happens, how to measure it, how to slow or prevent it and its diseases, the AI models, datasets and tools for studying it, and how treatments reach people. Clinical, computational and laboratory work all count. The judge also rates each paper's newsworthiness, study type and category. The strongest primary research becomes a short story in plain words, written from the paper's abstract and, where the paper has full text, excerpts of its methods and results, and scored against that text by the checker before publication; a second reader then reads it for claims that go further than the paper. Either one sends back any story the paper does not support. An evidence mapper weighs what each paper means for patients, for science and for business, and how close it is to patients and to market, and shows the evidence as it stands, never as a grade: where the work was done (cells, worms or flies, mice, humans), whether independent labs found the same and in how many countries, what points the other way, which trials ended with no results posted, who funds the work and where it has company ties. An integrity check against Retraction Watch, publishers' notices and US ORI findings takes retracted work out. With Plus, each reader gets a feed for their own work, as precise as "gene therapy for mitochondria", that learns from what they save and like. Ask AgingResearch.News answers questions from the papers it has read: it weighs the evidence, keeps animal and cell results apart from human ones, says when its papers do not answer and cites every claim; Ultradeep weighs 30 or more papers into a full evidence review. Top weighs newsworthiness, relevance to aging and each paper's significance for people; no list weighs the authors' fame, their institution or the journal's prestige. Each story names its source paper (title, authors, journal or preprint server, date and DOI) and labels the evidence behind it: human trial, human observational data, animals, model organisms, cells or computational work, and whether the paper is peer-reviewed or a preprint. Stories report what a paper found. For scientific claims, cite the source paper; for the summary, cite the story page. **Standards** (https://agingresearch.news/status#standards): - AgingResearch.News reads every new paper in PubMed, bioRxiv and medRxiv, new biology and biomedical computing papers on arXiv, new papers on Research Square and other preprint servers, the journals whose articles no longer reach PubMed, and the aging and geriatrics articles of Japan's journals on J-STAGE. - Each paper is read for six questions: how relevant its own work is to aging, what link to aging that work shows, how newsworthy it is, what kind of study it is, what it mainly establishes, and whether it is promotional. - A paper gets a story when it is primary research that the judging model finds more likely than not relevant to aging, with the link shown in its own work, scores at least 1 out of 3 for newsworthiness and is not promotional. A well-run randomized trial in people about aging gets a story whatever its newsworthiness score. Reviews get none. - An AI writer writes each story from the paper's abstract and, where the paper has full text, excerpts of its methods and results, in plain words for a reader outside the field. When it cannot, another AI writer writes the story from the same text under the same rules. - The judging model then scores the story against that text, from 0 (contradicts the paper) to 3 (fully faithful). A story below 1.9 is not published. - A second model then reads each story that passes for claims that go further than the paper: about what kind of paper it is, how the study was done, which organism or population each result came from, and why it matters. A story it flags goes back to the writer, and a story is published only when both pass it. - Figures are the papers' own, shown with their credit and license; other pictures are posters drawn for AgingResearch.News. A story shown to misreport its paper is corrected or withdrawn. - Boris Djordjevic, the founder, is the editor: he answers for these standards and for every correction. **What it is not:** - Not journal peer review: the journal club judges and checks papers; it does not referee them for a journal. - Not hand-written: specialized models write and check every story under the published standards, and a story shown to misreport its paper is corrected or withdrawn. - Not full text for every paper: paywalled papers are read from the abstract. - Not medical advice: it reports what papers found and labels whether each result comes from people, animals or cells. **Who it is for:** - Researchers in geroscience and every field aging work appears in, AI and bioinformatics included: every new paper judged for aging from its own work, study and preprint labels, search, entity and author pages, and the data API. - Clinicians in longevity, preventive medicine and geriatrics: whether a result comes from people, animals or cells, how many, whether independent labs found the same, what points the other way, the trials and those with no results posted, and retracted work taken out. - Biotech founders, operators and investors: the evidence for each drug, gene and biomarker by study type, and for each drug and gene the independent labs behind it, its funders and its company ties; its trials; and company, regulatory and funding news. - Readers following longevity for themselves or their family: plain stories labeled Animals or Cells on the card, each with its caveats. **Contact:** Corrections and questions about a story: https://agingresearch.news/contact?topic=correction.
