# Aleva

> Aleva collects Swedish public data (registries, statistics, the .se and .nu domains, transport, energy,
> courts, prices and more), records the licence of every source, and publishes the data as a JSON API and
> as tools over the Model Context Protocol. Every answer says where the data comes from, when it was
> fetched and how it may be used.

This is the sandbox (dev.aleva.se): test data, may change or break at any time.

## Using the data

- Show the attribution that comes with the data (`_meta.license.attribution`, or the X-Attribution header).
- Anonymous use is free within low limits per IP address; the limits are in the registry. 429 means wait for Retry-After.
- Results are paged: follow next_cursor.
- Everything is read-only. Nothing on Aleva takes payment or changes data.
