# Alto > Alto is the clean, private way to send demo videos to prospects and see exactly who watched. Upload a finished video (or let your agent do it), send one tracked link per recipient, and see which moments landed on an attention map. It does not record. Free to start; Pro is $19 a month. Alto is for people who send demos: founders and sales reps sending walkthroughs to prospects, consultants sending client updates, and developers whose coding agent renders and sends the demo. It is made by Twisted Vector LLC. - Prospects open their link and press play. No account, no sign-up prompt, no ads or recommended videos. The demo page carries the sender's brand, a personal note, chapters and one call to action. - One link per recipient, so every view is tied to a person, even when they forward it. - An attention map of every second of the video: where viewers watched, rewatched, skipped and left. - Free: $0. 10 videos a month, 25 recipient links, the attention map, agent uploads via the CLI and MCP server, and a “Hosted on alto” badge on the page. - Pro: $19 a month, or $15 a month billed annually. 100 videos a month, unlimited recipient links, per-viewer lanes and live “watching now” alerts, your logo, colors and custom domain, no badge, and the full API. - Team: $29 per seat a month (minimum 3 seats). A shared library and brand, roles, a team view of who's getting watched, CRM integrations and webhooks. - Enterprise: SSO and SAML, audit log, security review, invoicing and custom limits. - Agents never count as seats, viewers are never billed, and links are never metered on Pro and up. - Captions, chapters and a transcript are generated for every upload. MP4, MOV and WebM. - A CLI, a REST API and an MCP server, so a coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) can upload a render, create recipient links and read viewing activity. - Works in Claude (listed in Claude's connector directory: https://claude.ai/directory/alto) and ChatGPT (add https://alto.video/mcp): sign in to Alto, then give the assistant a finished video and say who it's for; it hands back one tracked link per person and can say later who watched. - Alto does not record screens or edit video. ## Pages - [Pricing](https://alto.video/pricing): Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise, every feature side by side, and billing questions - [Loom alternative](https://alto.video/loom-alternative): Loom and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [YouTube unlisted alternative](https://alto.video/youtube-unlisted-alternative): YouTube unlisted and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [Google Drive alternative](https://alto.video/google-drive-alternative): Google Drive and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [Vimeo alternative](https://alto.video/vimeo-alternative): Vimeo and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [Wistia alternative](https://alto.video/wistia-alternative): Wistia and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [Vidyard alternative](https://alto.video/vidyard-alternative): Vidyard and Alto compared row by row, with sources - [Home](https://alto.video/): what the viewer sees, what the sender sees, and the agent workflow - [Alto for founders](https://alto.video/for/founders): how founders use Alto - [Alto for consultants](https://alto.video/for/consultants): how consultants use Alto - [Alto for agents](https://alto.video/for/agents): how agents use Alto, with the upload API in four HTTP calls - [Email video thumbnail maker](https://alto.video/tools/email-video-thumbnail): a free tool that makes a looping GIF and a still with a play button from a video, in the browser, to link in an email - [Alto features](https://alto.video/features): everything Alto does, feature by feature, with what is on Pro marked - [The attention map](https://alto.video/attention-map): how Alto shows where viewers watched, rewatched, skipped and left, and how each number is counted - [Demo pages](https://alto.video/demo-pages): the page a recipient opens, what is on it, what never is, and what Pro changes - [Alto docs](https://alto.video/docs): where to start: connect an agent over MCP, use the CLI, or call the HTTP API with an API key - [API reference](https://alto.video/docs/api): every endpoint an API key can call, for uploads, videos, recipient links, viewers, analytics and transcripts, with examples - [CLI and MCP guide](https://alto.video/docs/cli-and-mcp): connect Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client to Alto with an API key, the tools the agent gets, and the CLI - [About Alto](https://alto.video/about): who makes Alto, why it exists and the promises it keeps - [Status](https://alto.video/status): whether demo pages, uploads, the studio, the API and video processing are working now, with 90 days of daily checks - [Security](https://alto.video/security): where videos and viewer data live, who can open a link, what is not built yet, and how to request the security pack - [Support](https://alto.video/support): how to get help, check status, and connect or disconnect Alto in ChatGPT and Claude ## Blog - [The Best Loom Alternatives for Sales Demos in 2026](https://alto.video/best-loom-alternatives): Eight Loom alternatives for sending a demo you've already made, compared on price, uploads, per-recipient tracking and custom domains, as of September 2026. - [The Cold Email Demo Playbook: Send a Video, Know Who Watched](https://alto.video/guides/cold-email-demo-playbook): How to put a finished demo in a cold email: a subject line that names them, a linked GIF, under 90 words, and follow-ups timed on what they watched. - [Can you upload a video to Loom?
