# apiauto.space

> apiauto.space is a paid read-only REST API (JSON) with used-car listings from Encar (South Korea), Che168 (China) and the Copart and IAAI auctions (USA) in one normalized record format. Base URL https://api.apiauto.space/v1, authentication with the X-API-Key header. A free one-day demo key (100 requests) is issued instantly by the Telegram bot https://t.me/apiautospace_bot. Paid plans start at $59 a month and are billed per car returned, not per request.

Key facts:

- Markets: `kr` = Encar; `cn` = Che168; `us` = Copart and IAAI, lots with auctions ahead.
- Catalog sizes: South Korea (Encar) — more than 140,000 active cars; China (Che168) — more than 230,000; USA (Copart and IAAI) — more than 80,000.
- Refresh: each market's copy is refreshed on a schedule, hourly by target; the real age is in the X-Data-Age-Seconds header of every answer and in /v1/references/markets.
- One record format for every market: id, market, source, title, brand, model, trim, year, mileage_km, fuel, transmission, engine_cc, body_type, color, vin, price {amount, currency}, price_usd (ECB daily rate), location, photos, photo_count, listing_url, is_active, first_seen_at, last_seen_at, disappeared_at, updated_at, raw (source-only fields). Missing values are null, never guessed.
- Endpoints: GET /v1/cars (filters, cursor pagination, up to 100 cars per request), GET /v1/cars/{id}, GET /v1/changes (new, removed, price changes), GET /v1/references/{brands,models,dictionaries,markets}, GET /v1/us/live (live US auction search), GET /v1/usage, signed photo links /img/…
- Boundaries: Korea — a VIN on about 0.1% of cars, no transmission or engine size; China — no VIN; USA — only upcoming auctions, no sale history or final prices.
- Plans: Demo free (1 day, 100 requests, up to 20 cars per request, all 3 markets); Start $59/month (1 market, 100,000 cars a month); Pro $149 (2 markets, 500,000 cars, change feed, 2,000 live US searches); Max $299 (3 markets, 2,000,000 cars, 10,000 live US searches); Enterprise: terms and price by agreement in the bot. A year costs 10 months.
