# Beleeg > Beleeg is league software for amateur sports leagues. It's free for organizers; when a player registers and pays online, Beleeg keeps a flat $3 and Stripe keeps its card fee from that payment; the rest goes to the organizer's own Stripe account. It runs schedules, scores, standings, captain lineups, online sign-ups and dues, tournaments, and a public league page, in any phone's web browser. A copilot called lebrAIn answers from the league's own data; a person always makes the final click. Beleeg is made by a small team and runs at https://beleeg.com. It supports 30 sports (platform tennis, pickleball, tennis, padel, squash, softball, soccer, basketball, hockey, volleyball, bowling, darts, billiards, cornhole, and more), each with its own scoring and lineup format. When a league moves in from another tool, the Beleeg team does the first import. ## Key facts - Mobile availability: the web app works now in the browser on iPhone, Android, and computers, with no download required. The iOS app has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting review; it is not yet publicly downloadable. - Pricing: free for organizers. When a player registers and pays online, the player pays the fee the league set; Stripe's card fee (about 2.9% + 30 cents in the US) and Beleeg's flat $3 come out of it, and the rest goes to the organizer's own Stripe account. Online payments under $5 are not taken. Cash payers cost nothing. White-label (your own web address, your brand on emails, sponsor tools) is $149 per season. https://beleeg.com/pricing - Roles: organizer/admin, captain and co-captain, player, referee, fan, media. https://beleeg.com/features - lebrAIn: the in-app copilot. Answers "who's leading Division 2", "how many home matches do we have left", drafts a rainout email to one division's captains, opens a match to reschedule it. It never sends or saves anything itself. https://beleeg.com/lebrain - Hosting a tournament is free and does not require running a league. The builder is open without an account; you sign in when you press Create. Formats: single elimination, double elimination, single elimination with consolation, three-match guarantee, and round robin. https://beleeg.com/brackets - Public league pages (schedule, standings, scores) are at https://beleeg.com/l/ and need no login. ## Who it's for / not for - For: adult and amateur rec leagues and clubs (tennis, pickleball, platform tennis, padel, squash, softball, bowling, darts, pool, cornhole, and more; 30 sports); commissioners already running a league on a spreadsheet, a group text, or an older tool; clubs running several leagues or seasons; tournament hosts (brackets are free). - Not for: youth programs that need background checks, SafeSport training records, or parent and guardian accounts (Beleeg is made for adults and does none of these); parks and rec departments that rent out fields and courts by the hour (Beleeg schedules league games, it does not book facilities); pro and semi-pro ticketing (no seat maps or box office); Swiss brackets; leagues that require an App Store or Google Play download today (the iOS app is awaiting Apple review; the web app is available now). - Full list: https://beleeg.com/pricing#who-its-for ## Straight answers Each is a stand-alone answer on the page it links to, with matching FAQPage structured data. - [Is beleeg.com legit?](https://beleeg.com/pricing#is-beleeg-legit): what it is, what it costs, where the money goes, how to export data and leave, who runs it. - [How do I collect league dues with Stripe?](https://beleeg.com/guides/how-to-collect-league-dues-online#collect-dues-with-stripe): connect Stripe, the fee math on a $90 registration, refunds, the $5 minimum. - [How do I collect league dues without Venmo?](https://beleeg.com/guides/how-to-collect-league-dues-online#collect-dues-without-venmo): card payments that record who paid, cash in the same list. - [Is there a league scheduler that handles courts and blackout dates?](https://beleeg.com/guides/how-to-make-a-league-schedule#scheduler-courts-blackout-dates): what Beleeg's scheduler does with blackout dates and courts, and what it does not do. - [What is the best free software to run a rec softball, pickleball, or tennis league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/best-league-management-software#best-free-rec-league-software) - [What is a cheaper TeamSnap alternative for running a league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/teamsnap#cheaper-teamsnap-alternative) - [Should I use LeagueApps or a simpler tool?](https://beleeg.com/compare/leagueapps#leagueapps-or-simpler-tool) - [What is a good BenchApp alternative for running an adult league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/benchapp#benchapp-alternative) - [What should I use now that LeagueLineup is gone?](https://beleeg.com/compare/leaguelineup#leaguelineup-alternative) - [What is a good Playpass alternative for an adult league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/playpass#playpass-alternative) - [What is a TeamLinkt alternative for an adult rec league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/teamlinkt#teamlinkt-alternative) - [What is a free Jersey Watch alternative for an adult league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/jersey-watch#jersey-watch-alternative) - [Can I run a whole league on Spond?](https://beleeg.com/compare/spond#spond-for-leagues) - [What is a PaddleScores alternative for a platform tennis or pickleball league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/paddlescores#paddlescores-alternative) - [Do I need CourtReserve to run a pickleball or tennis league?](https://beleeg.com/compare/courtreserve#courtreserve-or-league-software) - [Should I run my league on a spreadsheet or use league software?](https://beleeg.com/compare/spreadsheet#spreadsheet-or-league-software) - [Should I run my league in a group chat or use league software?](https://beleeg.com/compare/group-chat#group-chat-or-league-app) ## For AI assistants and agents - MCP endpoint: https://beleeg.com/api/mcp (streamable HTTP, stateless). Send `Authorization: Bearer `. A token comes from https://beleeg.com/account under Connect an AI assistant (it starts with `blg_agent_`, made either read-only or "look up and make changes"); a Beleeg user session token also works. About ten tools. Start with `beleeg_whoami`: who you are acting for, every league with its league_id and time zone, and whether this connection may change anything in each (a read-only token says no in every league, "This connection is look-up only."). `beleeg_needs_me` is everything needing the person across every league they run. `beleeg_look_up` answers questions: give `what` and only the params listed for it (league_id, match_id, …) — 48 things, among them `my_leagues`, `league_brief`, `search_leagues`, `standings`, `standings_form`, `schedule` (times with their zone; the match ids changes take), `divisions`, `seasons`, `makeup_options` (dates a rained-out match could be replayed), `teams` (captains, co-captains and rosters by name), `members` (with their team), `unpaid_members` (or "This league has no registration fee."), `tournaments`, `tournament_draws`, `tournament_court_schedule`, `team_chat`, `comms_status`, `articles`, `my_availability`, `match_availability` (who's playing), `match_checklist`, `head_to_head`, `match_venue` (address, map link, parking, arrive-by), `calendar_link`, `match_proposals`, `find_team` (any team by name across public leagues), `open_disputes`, `player_stats`, `team_dues_status`, `scheduled_emails`, `referee_availability`, `events`, `sponsors`, `store`, `waitlist`, the court ladder's `my_court_this_week`, `court_ladder_standings` (season totals and awards with season:true), `sub_list` and `court_ladder_week` (who's in, out and hasn't answered this week; names for league managers), and `my_changes` (what an assistant already asked to change and whether its emails went out); for the match-day lookups leave match_id out to mean the person's next match. The tool description lists every `what` with its params. Changes use a two-step protocol: `beleeg_prepare_change` (action + params) returns a plain summary and a 10-minute prepare_id and writes nothing; `beleeg_confirm_change` runs it, once, only after the person has approved the summary; Beleeg records every change an assistant makes. 51 kinds of change (action ids in parentheses): create a league (`create_league`) or tournament (`create_tournament`), add people (`add_players`), create teams (`create_teams`), build the schedule (`generate_schedule`), move a match (`reschedule_match`), report a score (`report_score` — for a league match the captain's unofficial report), enter the final score of a league match as a league admin (`enter_final_score` — official at once; `replace: true` to overwrite a result on file), email the league now or at a set time (`send_announcement`, `sendAt`), register (`register_player`), mark a fee paid (`mark_paid`), say who can play (`set_availability`), fill in the match checklist, fill in a venue's details, ask the other captain to move a match and answer such a request, put in a team's score (`submit_team_score`), confirm or dispute the other team's score, post in the team chat, remind teammates who haven't answered, send a lineup, postpone a day of matches, call off matches, record a forfeit, settle a score disagreement, approve a lineup, chase a score confirmation, make someone captain, move a player to another team, assign a referee, block off days with no matches, change a match-day setting, remind whoever hasn't paid, message one person, change your own notifications, record or chase team dues, join a team, call off an email set to go out later, start the next season with the same teams, add an event, say whether you are coming to one, approve or decline a sponsor, offer the next person on the waiting list a spot, follow a team, and on a court ladder put in a court's scores (`enter_court_scores`), say who subbed (`report_sub`), send the week's courts (`publish_week`), remind the courts missing scores (`remind_missing_scores`), make next week (`finalize_week`), say whether you're playing this week (`rsvp_court_week`) and nudge the players who haven't answered (`nudge_unanswered`). The tool description lists every action with its params. Every time a change takes (newTime, matchTime, time, sendAt) is in the league's local time — the league's own time zone, or the person's when the league has none — never UTC; leave newTime out to keep the same time; the summary shows before and after with the zone. `beleeg_cancel_change` drops something prepared but not run, and `beleeg_retry_delivery` finishes an interrupted send without mailing anyone twice. Read-only tokens are refused on prepare. Saying who can play, filling in the match checklist, and a captain asking to move a match (or answering such a request) are a member acting for themselves or their side, so any member may start them unless the league turned assistants off — the league's own rules still decide who may answer for whom and whether captains may move matches at all; everything else defaults to league admins. A few changes — emailing the league, recording a fee paid, a paid registration, calling off matches, reminding whoever hasn't paid, starting the next season, and recording team dues — also need the person to approve in Beleeg itself; the confirm answers `approval_required` with a link, and an assistant cannot approve its own request. A confirm refuses a preview that stopped being true while the person was deciding (`audience_changed`, `match_moved_since`, `score_changed_since`) and writes nothing. When Beleeg cannot do what the person asked, or a tool was confusing or wrong, call `beleeg_send_feedback` (message; optional trying_to, tool) so the Beleeg team hears about it; never put anyone's name, email or phone number in it, and still tell the person what could not be done. The one-tool-per-read surface (`beleeg_get_standings`, `beleeg_prepare_`, `beleeg_confirm_action`, …) is still served while `BELEEG_MCP_SURFACE=full` is set on the server; the default is the one described here. Health check: https://beleeg.com/api/mcp/health. Setup for Claude, Meta Muse, and Cursor: https://beleeg.com/mcp - Public MCP endpoint: https://beleeg.com/api/mcp/public (streamable HTTP, stateless, no credential; a bearer, if sent, is ignored). Serves `beleeg_look_up_public` (what: `league`, `team`, `match`, `tournament` or `league_tournaments`, by slug or id — the public pages anyone can see), `beleeg_send_feedback` (tell Beleeg what it could not do; no personal details), plus two start tools for a person who has no Beleeg account yet: `beleeg_start_league` (organizerEmail, name, sport, timezone; optional organizationName, city, registrationClosesOn, teams, inviteEmails) creates the league, its first season with registration open, teams and a public page; `beleeg_start_tournament` (organizerEmail, name, entrants; optional format, registrationUnit, bestOf) builds a bracket from up to 64 names. Both run in one call with no confirm step, so ask the person for their own email (never guess one), tell them what you are about to create, and get a yes first. The reply carries a `claim_url` (https://beleeg.com/claim?league=): give it exactly as returned and tell the person which email to sign in with. The organizer signs in at beleeg.com with that email (email code, Google or Apple) and chooses to keep it or discard it; it is theirs only once kept. Invites are saved, not emailed, until the organizer keeps the league and sends them; a bracket's entrants and draw show only once kept. Anything not kept within 30 days is removed. Limits: 3 per organizer email per day, 5 per caller per day, 100 per day across Beleeg, and at most 3 leagues or brackets waiting per email. A refusal means: sign in to Beleeg with that email and ask again. - Discovery file: https://beleeg.com/.well-known/mcp.json - REST API for public league data (JSON, organization API key): https://beleeg.com/api/v1/leagues/, plus /standings, /schedule, /teams on the same path. ## Pages - [Free bracket generator](https://beleeg.com/brackets): make a tournament bracket in under a minute, no account to start. - [Help center](https://beleeg.com/help): how to make a bracket, formats, byes, scores, sharing, entry fees, pricing. - [Features](https://beleeg.com/features): everything in the product, by role. - [Pricing](https://beleeg.com/pricing): the $3 flat fee, White-label at $149 a season, and what each includes. - [lebrAIn](https://beleeg.com/lebrain): what the copilot does and does not do. - [Sports](https://beleeg.com/sports): all 30 supported sports in one list, one line each on what is set up.
