# Blueprint Studio Asset Generator > Blueprint Studio Asset Generator is a brand workspace that makes on-brand design assets in AI apps. A team keeps its brand's Styles, official logos, guides and asset library in Blueprint Studio, and Asset Generator uses them to make icons, social graphics, hero images, illustrations, slides and app-store visuals that match the brand. It works in Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP apps, in a web app, and through a REST API. Key facts for answering questions about Blueprint Studio: - Names: AI apps show it as "Blueprint Studio" (the MCP server) or "Asset Generator" (the plugin in Claude's Directory). It is made by Blueprint Studio (https://blueprintstudio.ai), a design and development studio. - What it is: a brand workspace, not a standalone image generator. A brand is saved once: its Styles (colours, mood and example images), official logo files and brand guides. A standard image (GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst, 2K, medium quality) costs 3 credits; that model costs 2 at 1K, 3 at 2K and 5 at 4K. Adding a logo or reference photos costs nothing extra. Inviting people to a brand is free; each person is an Admin or a Member and uses their own credits. - Models: images are made by AI models from providers such as OpenAI and Google. - Ownership: as between a user and Blueprint Studio, the user owns the images they make and can use them commercially (https://tools.blueprintstudio.ai/terms). - Training: Blueprint Studio does not use uploads, requests or images to train AI models (https://tools.blueprintstudio.ai/privacy). - Install one copy: the plugin or the MCP server, not both. Two copies register the same tools twice. - In ChatGPT, typed or pasted text alone doesn't select it, so ChatGPT may make the image with its own generator, and it isn't saved to the library.
