# Blumify > What AI and finance leaders say in interviews, podcasts, talks, speeches, posts on X and blogs, > in their own words, every day, with each quote linked to its source, and when a view changed. > Markets: central-bank decisions, company results and fund portfolios, and what changed each time. > Plus transcripts, summaries and chapters of any YouTube video or podcast episode from a link, > and of your own recordings. ## What this site does - Person pages (https://blumify.io/people): AI and finance leaders, in an AI tab and a Finance tab. For each person, what they said, newest first: interviews, podcasts, talks, speeches, posts on X and blogs, with a short summary and exact quotes linked to the source (a recording opens at that moment in the transcript). Free to read. - Topic pages (https://blumify.io/people/{person}/topics/{topic}): everything a person said on one topic, newest first. - Change pages (https://blumify.io/people/{person}/changes/{id}): when a person's stated view on a topic changed, with the Then and Now quotes side by side, each dated and linked. - Follow: a free account follows up to 3 people and gets one email on the days they speak. Unlimited follows anyone and can limit the email to a topic. People who follow someone also get a weekly "what changed" email. - Ask: signed-in readers ask what a person said in the last 30 days, or ask a group: a central bank, all central bankers, Markets, everyone on a topic, one event, the people they follow, or everyone (the last 90 days). The answer comes only from their own words and cites each source. Ask also answers plain "what changed" questions, such as "Who at the Fed has changed their view on rates?", with the Then and Now quotes. - Link transcripts: paste a YouTube, Apple Podcasts or Spotify link and get a timestamped transcript with a summary, key points, chapters and notes. - File transcription: upload an audio or video file and get a plain transcript, or SRT or VTT subtitles. Key facts, stated plainly so they can be quoted accurately (checked 2026-10-27): - Reading every person page, Markets page and transcript page is free and needs no account. - Making a new transcript needs a free account (an emailed code or Google) and uses AI credits. Most YouTube videos cost 3 credits per started hour; Apple Podcasts and Spotify episodes 12 an hour; other audio links 24 an hour; some YouTube videos up to 40 an hour. The exact price shows before anything is charged, and failed work costs nothing. A free account comes with 25 AI credits every Monday (UTC); unused ones do not carry over. - Referrals: each account has an invite link. A friend who signs up through it gets Unlimited free for 30 days, with no card (one free trial per person; fair use: 10 hours of audio at full speed, then up to 1 hour a day). When the friend becomes active (follows 3 people and asks 1 question within 30 days), the inviter gets one free month of Unlimited, at most 12 a year. - Blumify Unlimited: US$9.99 a month, or US$59.99 a year (about US$5 a month, billed yearly), tax included; the first 14 days are free (a card is needed, one free trial per person; we email 3 days before the first charge, and cancelling before it costs nothing); refunds within 7 days. It covers following anyone, questions, and transcripts of links on the standard model, public or private (up to 4 hours), without using credits. Fair use on audio: 50 hours of audio a month at full speed, then up to 1 hour a day. Still paid with credits: the most accurate model (a choice per private transcript; 61 to 84 credits an hour) and work through a personal API token. Pricing: https://blumify.io/pro - Top-up: US$10 for 1,000 AI credits, without a subscription. - Questions on a free account: 2 credits to ask one person (2 per started hour of a transcript); 5 credits to ask a group. ## Person pages - Who: AI leaders and finance leaders (central bankers, heads of banks, companies and funds, investors, and finance journalists). Signed-in readers suggest names and vote for who comes next (https://blumify.io/people#next-h). - What counts: only what the person said or wrote themselves, not commentary about them. - Quotes are their exact words and link to the source. - Report a problem on any item; two reports hide it until it is checked. - Summaries are written by AI and can be wrong. Blumify can make mistakes; check important work against the recording. ## Markets Central banks and companies, their decisions, results and calls, and what changed each time. Facts and words from official sources, each linked. Not investment advice. - Markets dashboard (https://blumify.io/markets): one view of the next 14 days. A day strip of rate decisions, company results, speeches and hearings; the central banks (the rate now, the next decision, and how much the last statement's wording changed); the companies reporting, largest first, with how revenue and earnings per share moved in their last filed quarter; finance voices who changed a view lately; and funds' new and closed positions. Each item opens a detail panel that links to its full page. A central bank's panel shows its latest statement marked up against the previous one, where both are on Blumify. - The week ahead in markets: a free email every Monday (Sydney time; Sunday evening in the US) with the week's rate decisions, who reports results, and what changed the week before. Readers ask for it on https://blumify.io/markets, with a free account. - Follow a company (free, no limit): one email on its results day, with its figures against the quarter before. - Follow a central bank (free, no limit): an email when its new statement is published here, marked up against the one before. - Central-bank pages (https://blumify.io/markets/{bank}, for example https://blumify.io/markets/fed): the current policy rate, the next meeting and its time, the latest decision, past decisions, and the officials. - Central bankers (https://blumify.io/markets/central-bankers): what each central banker we follow (Fed, ECB, Bank of England, Bank of Canada, RBA) said most recently on inflation, the rate path, jobs and growth, side by side; where they differ; recent shifts of view; and who speaks next. - Company pages (https://blumify.io/markets/{company}): the next earnings or results date and time; the latest filed results against the quarter before and a year earlier, with the filing; results days and calls; insider trades of the last 90 days, each with its filing; well-known funds that hold the company, from their 13F filings; the leaders; and links to investor relations and SEC filings. - Fund portfolios (https://blumify.io/markets/funds, "Superinvestor portfolios"): every fund we track with a recent SEC Form 13F filing, one row each, largest first: the quarter, its total value, the number of holdings, the biggest new position and the biggest full exit since the report before, and when the next 13F reports are due. - Portfolio pages (https://blumify.io/people/{person}/portfolio): what a fund manager's fund held at the end of the last quarter, from its latest SEC Form 13F filing: every holding with shares, value and share of the portfolio, and what the filing shows bought and sold that quarter. Where the manager has a person page, it also shows what they said lately. - Event pages (https://blumify.io/markets/{org}/{yyyy-mm-dd}): one rate decision, results release or call: the headline first; figures against last time and guidance; up to three "what changed" items with sources; for central banks, the statement marked up against the previous one (added words marked, removed words struck through); who spoke; links to the official recording and text. - Each page answers the common questions about it in a Questions section, with dates, and says when it was last updated (UTC). ## Link transcripts Each transcript gets a public page at https://blumify.io/t/{platform}/{id}/{slug}, with an "ask this transcript" box that answers from the transcript, citing timestamps. - Accepted: YouTube videos, Apple Podcasts episodes, Spotify episodes whose show has a public RSS feed, and direct links to audio or video files. YouTube playlists are accepted in the paid workspace. - Not accepted: channels, whole shows, live streams, and anything private or behind a login. Spotify-only shows cannot be fetched. - Length: public transcripts up to 90 minutes of audio (most YouTube videos up to 4 hours). Private transcripts up to 4 hours. - Speaker labels: a paid feature of private transcripts. - Downloads: .txt, .srt, .vtt and .md. ## File transcription - [Transcribe audio to text](https://blumify.io/transcribe): Turn a recording into text you can read, search and paste. Works on video or audio, in a dozen-plus languages, with no account. - [Generate SRT subtitles](https://blumify.io/subtitles-srt): Creates a timed .srt subtitle file — the format YouTube, Premiere and almost every player accept. - [Generate VTT subtitles](https://blumify.io/subtitles-vtt): Creates a timed WebVTT file — the caption format HTML5 video players use natively. - Free with no account: up to 100MB and 10 minutes of speech, one file at a time; results stay downloadable for about 90 minutes, and the upload is deleted once processing succeeds. With Unlimited: up to 2GB and 90 minutes of speech. - Speakers are not labelled in uploaded files, and the text is not translated. - https://blumify.io/api/tools lists these tools as JSON, with each operation id, input types and output format. ## Accuracy (measured) Accuracy (100% minus the word error rate) on 6.3 hours of podcasts, talks and earnings calls with human transcripts, 5 October 2026 (corrected 6 October 2026), https://blumify.io/accuracy: - The most accurate model (private transcripts, English audio): 93.1% on average. - The standard model: 90.2%. - Videos with captions use them on every plan: YouTube's automatic captions were 94.3% accurate against creators' own captions. - Earnings calls were the hardest for both models. ## For agents, apps and scripts - MCP server for AI apps that support MCP, such as Claude, with OAuth sign-in: https://blumify.io/api/media/v1/mcp. A read-only public server needs no sign-in: https://blumify.io/api/media/v1/mcp/public. Both are in the official MCP Registry as io.blumify/transcripts and io.blumify/transcripts-public. - Claude Code plugin: https://github.com/Sketchjar/blumify-claude-plugin - REST API with personal API tokens (paid with the account's credits) and webhooks: https://blumify.io/developers - A public API with no key for transcripts that already exist (new ones need an account): https://blumify.io/AGENTS.md, which states the exact limits and error codes. - Apify actor, billed per result with no Blumify account: https://apify.com/skilled_farfalle/blumify-transcripts - Chrome extension: a side panel with the transcript, summary and chapters of the YouTube video or podcast episode in the open tab, and Ask: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/blumify-youtube-podcast-t/emkodjcepcfjhfnnhbbkcpmkcdeceede ## Not available - No share prices: Markets covers what was decided, reported, filed and said. - No file converters or video editor: those were retired in October 2026. File transcription and subtitles stay. - No translation of full transcripts: only the title and notes can be translated. - No speaker labels on public transcripts. - Whole YouTube channels cannot be transcribed at once; add the videos or a playlist. ## Contact gaurav@blumify.io
