## The product (one kit)

Three parts, in this order:
1. Door badge (4 × 4 in), 3 per kit: three blue scalloped-check "CAN-TAP
   VERIFIED BUSINESS" door stickers for the doors or windows. They tell
   customers the business is verified before they walk in, like a verified
   check for a storefront.
2. Counter stand (7 × 5 in face): an acrylic stand that leans back on a white
   base. It is where a customer taps; the review page the business chose opens
   in the browser, with no app. Lifetime warranty on the stand.
3. Online business record: the business's record on can-tap-verified.com,
   where the facts it states can be checked.

Year one: Your online record is included for 12 months from activation.
After that, renewing is optional: C$49 per year, and we never charge it
automatically. If you do not renew, the record shows as expired. The door
badges, the counter stand, and the tap to your chosen page keep working
either way. Renewing never grants verification; that still depends on
evidence review.

Buying the kit starts the online record. Its status reads "Pending review"
until the evidence behind it is reviewed. Payment never grants verification.
Claiming or correcting a listing is free and needs no purchase (/claim).
Every customer sees the same invitation. CAN-TAP never filters or gates reviews.

## The verified network

- /businesses — public directory of Canadian business profiles with
  LocalBusiness schema, claimable by owners (/claim).
- /verified-program — what verification checks and what the badge means.
- Verification is performed by CAN-TAP. It is not an endorsement by Google or
  any AI provider.
- A profile records what CAN-TAP checked and on what date. Claimed is not
  reviewed, pending is not verified, and paid is not verified.
- Review links: a profile carries review_destination only when CAN-TAP holds a
  merchant-specific review URL. A Google Maps search link is not a review link
  and does not show that a Google Business Profile exists; such profiles carry
  review_destination null and review_destination_status "unconfirmed".

  Google's policies and we say so plainly.

## Subscriptions

- Monitoring and alert plans are not sold until the service behind them is
  running. The kit works without them.
