# DiffiCat > Browser-based web app for website migration testing, with a free trial. DiffiCat compares a source website against a target website — called Site A and Site B in the app — across three checks: page existence, content accuracy, and visual regression. It runs in the browser at https://app.difficat.com/ — nothing to install. No account is needed to start, with 100 captured pages without one; signing in adds 500 more and unlocks Pro. ## What it does - **Page existence**: Checks HTTP status codes on both sites. Detects 404s, broken redirects, and authentication walls. Shows blame indicators (e.g., source 200 → target 404) so you know which site has the problem. - **Content accuracy**: Compares the page title, H1, meta description, canonical, robots meta, hreflang and body text. Uses a 90% word-overlap threshold for the body text, and the report highlights the individual words added and removed so content drift is readable, not inferred. - **Visual regression**: Captures each page of both sites from the top down to 10,000 px (Full page is selectable in Run defaults; the report marks a page that was cut) and compares them pixel-by-pixel using the Pixelmatch algorithm. Configurable threshold in the app (default 0%, adjustable 0–100%). Four views: side by side, slider, flip, and overlay, with the changed areas highlighted in numbered boxes and synchronised scrolling. - **Snapshot**: Every page of one site, found for you and saved with no second site required. Each page is one snapshot (its screenshot, text and HTTP status), and either side of a compare can be a snapshot instead of a live address — take the old site once before a migration, then compare the new one against it as often as needed, or keep before-shots at a specific viewport width. - **Collections**: Every Take snapshot and every kept run starts a collection, a named group of snapshots (" ·
