# DigestSEO

> DigestSEO is a suite of MCP tools for search visibility and web quality. It includes an open-source AI visibility tracker, a Google Search Console server, and a hosted standards-based web validator.

Key facts:

- DigestSEO MCP runs locally with `npx -y @digestseo/mcp-geo` (SQLite; no Cloudflare account) or remotely on Cloudflare Workers with D1.
- Six analysis tools are shared by both runtimes; local npm, desktop-extension, and Docker installs add `track_brand`, `list_brands`, and `generate_prompts`.
- It works with Claude.ai custom connectors, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, and any MCP-compatible client.
- Engines are opt-in: you only configure the API keys you have. The recommended starting pair is OpenAI + Anthropic.
- Self-hosting is free (MIT license, Cloudflare free tier); you pay only engine API costs.
- The Google Search Console server provides five read-only tools for sitemaps, search analytics, and URL inspection.
- The hosted Web Validator provides seven read-only tools for validating public webpages, HTML, CSS, accessibility, feeds, links, and structured data.
