# Distribea

> Distribea Motion Control remakes any video with you in it: pick a video, add your photo, and the person in it becomes you while every move stays the same. The same subscription opens a royalty-free library of music, sound effects, video footage and high-resolution images, and gives credits every month for the other AI tools: an image generator (with Google's Nano Banana Pro model), a music generator, a video generator and a voiceover generator. Royalty-free, no copyright strikes, no attribution required.

## Motion Control

[Motion Control](https://distribea.com/) is Distribea's main tool. Pick a video and add your photo. You replace the person in it and keep every move. Pick a scene from the library or a trending clip, or upload your own, then add one photo per person. Distribea returns the same video with the person replaced by the one in your photo.

### Motion Control questions

- **What if my video doesn't finish?** You're not charged.
- **How long does it take?** About 4 to 7 minutes for a 10-second video. You can close the page: your video waits in your History.
- **Will it look like me?** Yes, if your photo is clear: your face in good light, looking at the camera. Add a photo of your outfit if you want it in the video. Your videos are made in 768p unless you pick 1080p.
- **Can I use my own video?** Yes. Add any clip from 4 to 30 seconds, in MP4 or MOV, then your photo. Your clip keeps its moves and its camera.
- **Is the sound kept?** Yes for clips from 5 to 15 seconds: your video comes back with the clip's own sound.
- **Where do my photos go?** Into your own panel, and to the engine that makes your video. They don't show up anywhere else on the site. To have them deleted, write to privacy@distribea.com.
- **Can I post it on TikTok and Instagram?** Post it like any trend video. Use your own face, or the face of someone who agreed, never a child's. The trend belongs to its creator: credit them, and add its sound from the app's sound library when you post.
- **How do I cancel?** In your account, at any time.

Nothing is generated or charged.
- Key needed: `GET /api/v1/account`, and `POST /api/v1/generate/image|video|music|voice` without `dry_run` (voice takes `{"text":"..."}`)
- Names: durations are in seconds (`duration` in, `duration_seconds` out), `aspect_ratio` is the shape (`16:9`), `file_type` the file format (`png`, `mp3`).
- Errors always look like `{"error":{"code":"missing_parameter","message":"...","param":"q","fix":"...","retryable":false}}`, with `valid_values` when a field takes a fixed list and `retry_after_seconds` when waiting is enough.
- Long video jobs answer `202` with `"status":"pending"`: send the same request again after `Retry-After` seconds, it is never charged twice.
- Limits: 12 generations per minute and 200 per day per account. A failed generation is refunded.
