# dotsy > dotsy is the agentic platform for your online presence: a web platform built for AI assistants. You connect your own AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client) and it builds, edits and publishes websites for you; dotsy hosts them on Cloudflare. dotsy has no AI of its own, so there are no AI credits to buy. People can also edit a site by hand in the dashboard. Key facts for agents: - Three ways in, one account: the hosted MCP server, the `dotsy` CLI, and the HTTP API. All three use the same API at https://api.dotsy.ai. - MCP server URL: https://mcp.dotsy.ai/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Sign in with OAuth (the client's Connect button, login at app.dotsy.ai), or send `Authorization: Bearer pga_...` with an account API key for scripts and CI. Keys are created at https://app.dotsy.ai/account/keys. - With no sign-in, the MCP tool `start_site` makes a throwaway guest draft (`pgg_` token). Publishing and `claim_site` need a signed-in account. - Writes through MCP, CLI and API are staged as drafts. Nothing is public until you publish (`publish_site`, `dotsy publish ` or `POST /api/v1/sites/{slug}/publish`). - Before building, call the MCP tools `list_skills` and `get_skill` for dotsy's build guides (for example intake, clone, seo, domains, launch and verify). - An existing site can be imported from its URL as an editable draft with the MCP tool `import_site_from_url`, or cloned to disk with `dotsy clone `. - Sites without their own domain live at `yoursite.dotsy.site`.
