# The ePlane Company

> The world’s most compact aircraft with the most versatile airframe.

The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies Private Limited) was founded at IIT
Madras in 2019 and builds the e200X, an electric vertical take-off and landing
aircraft for dense urban airspace. Its Synergistic Lift architecture decouples
the vertical rotors from the forward-flight wings. The company holds Design
Organisation Approval from India's DGCA and an accepted Type Certification
application for the e200X.
