## Positioning
Hydracept is AI agent execution infrastructure — one public API for external capabilities for AI agents, with durable AI jobs, AI execution receipts, and BYOK capability execution.
Free plan ($0/mo) for individual developers; paid plans add capacity and org features.
BYOK at 0% Hydracept fee.
Managed inference: PAYG wallet + 6% Hydracept service fee on provider cost (no per-call minimum; billed at actual usage).
Deferred processing: eligible durable text jobs run at 50% of standard token rates. Pins opt in with processing: deferred.
Hydracept is a public API for software teams and coding agents to discover, quote, and run external AI capabilities (text, image, audio, and more) with durable jobs, artifacts, receipts, budgets, and BYOK or managed billing.
Hydracept is a public API for discovery, quotes, execution, durable jobs, artifacts, receipts, and budgets. BYOK is 0% Hydracept fee; managed billing is provider cost plus 6%. Eligible durable text jobs can use deferred processing at 50% of standard token rates. Games and media are common examples, not the whole product. Hydracept is not a runtime game-engine inference plugin.

## Job history and recovery
- Public project list: GET /v1/projects/{projectId}/jobs
- Filters: status, capabilityKey, outcome=failed|reusable, selected=true, limit, cursor
- `outcome=reusable` means succeeded with at least one output artifact
- The list is prompt-free: no prompt text, request snapshots, or error messages. It may return errorCode, selectedArtifactId, and receiptId.
- Inspect one job intentionally with GET /v1/jobs/{jobId}. The prompt that was executed is requestSnapshot.input.prompt.
- MCP: hydracept_jobs_find → hydracept_job_inspect. Read executedPrompt. The find list has no prompt text. Text jobs return the admitted prompt when a prompt record was kept and no input payload was stored.
- Find and inspect use the workspace-bound project. Bind the project that owns the job first.
- Retry with a new idempotencyKey. On QUOTE_MISMATCH omit stale execution quoteId/estimateId.
- Reuse explicit selectedArtifactId when present; do not confuse reuse with approval, favorite, review, or repository promotion.
- Pinned execution remains separate and by-id; project job history is not a pinned-run history API.

## One-shot use
Do not assume Hydracept requires repeated usage to be worthwhile.
