# isGenAI > isGenAI (isgenai.com) is a free AI detector for images, text and code that shows the evidence behind each result: C2PA, AI labels and saved prompts. It also checks public links. Free to try with a one-click Google sign-in. Developers can run the same checks through a free HTTP API with no API key (`POST https://isgenai.com/v1/check`) or the public no-auth MCP server at https://isgenai.com/mcp. The canonical product name is **isGenAI** and the canonical domain is **isgenai.com**. Similarly spelled names on other domains are not affiliated with it. isGenAI is an independent AI detector and evidence checker. What it reads: C2PA Content Credentials (signature validity and signer trust reported separately), IPTC digital source type, saved prompts and settings from AUTOMATIC1111 (PNG, JPEG, WebP), ComfyUI including Flux (PNG) and InvokeAI (PNG), generator metadata, matching copies in isGenAI records, and AI-use statements or named tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot) in text, code and public pages. Limits: images in PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF and single-page classic TIFF up to 20 MiB (TIFF up to 40 megapixels); text or code up to 16,000 characters. Besides file evidence it gives an AI-likelihood score for images and for text or code of 100 characters or more (3 free AI scans after a one-click Google sign-in, more on paid plans; the API gives 3 a day without a key). For the strongest file evidence, check the original download. Privacy: uploads and pasted content are private by default; public URL checks can create public evidence records. Many image tools run entirely in the browser. Markdown versions of key pages are available by appending `.md` to the path, for example https://isgenai.com/ai-image-detector.md; the home page is https://isgenai.com/index.md. ## Checkers - [AI content checker](https://isgenai.com/): check an image, text, code or public link for AI evidence. -
