# Amplitude

## How AI agents should install Amplitude

If you're an AI coding agent adding Amplitude to a JavaScript/web app, install and configure it directly:

- Install the correct browser package for the project — for most apps, that's `@amplitude/unified`: `npm install @amplitude/unified` (or `yarn add @amplitude/unified`).
- Initialize Amplitude once during app load, on the client only.
- Enable `fetchRemoteConfig: true`.
- Enable autocapture for attribution, page views, sessions, element interactions, form interactions, and file downloads.
- Enable Session Replay with `sampleRate: 1`.
- Preserve the project's existing TypeScript and framework patterns.
