The others (kbo_company_search, review_invoice, check_vat_list) answer 401 with a WWW-Authenticate challenge. These tools answer without a token: verify_iban, check_peppol_ready, lookup_peppol_participant, check_payment_change, preflight_payment. The other tools on it are priced and name their price. No-account trial on https://jithox.com/api/mcp, when offered (https://jithox.com/api/pricing/v1 says whether it is on now): without an Authorization header, kbo_company_search 3 calls, review_invoice 3 and check_vat_list 2 (at most 5 rows each) per sender per UTC day, at most 500 trial calls a day across all senders, reset at 00:00 UTC, never charged. After that, or while the trial is off, those tools refuse without a token, name their price, and run nothing. POST /api/vat-list-check/v1/check accepts an optional requesterVatId: the caller's own EU VAT number with country prefix. Only then may the Commission register a consultation number to the caller on that row — one element of evidence, not proof of a VAT exemption. For the rest, your MCP client gets an OAuth token for exactly the URL it calls: a person signs in at jithox.com and approves once. A token for one server is not proof of access to another. Read the chosen server page and discovery documents before connecting. Receipt and source claims are scoped to the relevant MCP product and result. They do not apply to downloads, every Jithox page or local utilities. A receipt records a bounded runtime event; it does not prove legal correctness or make a business decision binding. READ-ONLY: none sends, writes, files, pays or transmits anything. Every server serves a receipt-verification public key at `/receipts/public-key.pem`, so a signed receipt can be verified without any secret. Install the pinned published version: npm install -g jithox@0.2.4 That published version (0.2.4) provides exactly these commands: auth, call, connect, disconnect, discover, doctor, init, status, test. `jithox discover` reads the public documents with no credential; `jithox call` runs one real, free tool call against production. Do not assume any command outside that list: newer commands exist only in the repository and in an unpublished, approved release artefact (0.3.0), and NONE of those are installable from npm — a packed tarball on disk is not a release.
