# Claim Back > Claim Back helps families in the United States appeal Medicare Advantage denials. Upload the plan’s denial letter and a person on our team reads it, quotes its deadline back to you and says whether and how it can be appealed, for free. If you want help, we write the appeal, a person checks every line, and it goes to the plan in the enrollee’s name. We also read long-term care insurance denial letters for free and show the steps the state’s rules allow. A Lapla SI project, run by its founder, Chen Yu, at Random Walk Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan. Not lawyers. Not doctors. Just the people who won’t let a big insurer hide behind fine print to keep what’s yours. ## How it works 1. Upload the denial letter (PDF or photos) at https://claimback.lapla.si/#read with an email address. Checking it is free. 2. A person on our team reads it and tells you what it says, the deadline printed on it, and whether and how it can be appealed, usually within a day. 3. If you want our help, you choose one of two services. We write the appeal to answer the plan’s reason; a person checks every line; you review and approve it before anything is sent. 4. It goes to the plan in the enrollee’s name: we fax it, or you send it. 5. The plan answers by mail; you upload its answer. If the plan keeps its decision, the case goes to an independent reviewer automatically. Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans and long-term care insurance (below), in the United States only. ## Services and prices - **We handle it for you:** $299.
