# Livermore > Livermore (https://livermore.club) is a free, bilingual (English and Traditional Chinese) website with US stock ownership data taken directly from public filings: insider trading (SEC Form 4), institutional holdings (SEC 13F, including a curated list of 47 superinvestors), holders of more than 5% (Schedule 13D and 13G), insiders' proposed sales (Form 144) and stock trades reported by politicians (members of the U.S. Congress: House and Senate periodic transaction reports). Every number links back to the original filing. AI agents can read the pages or query the same data through a public, read-only MCP server at https://livermore.club/mcp, which also serves Taiwan stock data (see below). The data is as filed. Livermore shows no US stock prices (the only prices are those in the filings themselves and the SEC's price for fails-to-deliver; each company's market cap is calculated from the latest daily close, which itself is not shown) and makes no estimates beyond clearly labeled ones (for example the estimated volume of politician trades, which adds up the midpoints of the reported amount ranges); nothing on the site is investment advice. ## Data coverage - Insider trades: SEC Form 4 filings since July 2021 (open-market purchases and sales, grants, option exercises, tax withholding, gifts and the other transaction codes). Multiple lots of one filing are combined per transaction type, as on OpenInsider. - Institutional holdings: SEC 13F-HR filings since Q1 2021 for all filers (about 9,000 institutions per quarter). 13F is filed up to 45 days after the quarter ends and covers long positions in US-listed securities only. Share changes between quarters are converted for stock splits and reverse splits; share counts are shown as filed. - Superinvestors: 47 curated investors, for example Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway), Bill Ackman (Pershing Square) and Li Lu (Himalaya Capital): holdings, quarterly buys and sells, and their own Form 4, 13D and 13G filings. - 5% owners: Schedule 13D (holders who may seek to influence the company) and 13G (passive holders) filings on SEC EDGAR. Structured filings (voluntary since December 18, 2023, required since December 18, 2024) carry the percent of the class, shares and event date; older SC 13D and SC 13G filings since 2021 list only the filer, the company and the date. Current 5% holders come from each holder's latest filing. - Proposed insider sales: Form 144 notices since 2023 (electronic filing required since April 13, 2023). A notice is a plan to sell, not a completed sale; notices with a clearly misreported market value are flagged and left out of lists and totals. - Politician trades: periodic transaction reports (PTRs) filed since January 1, 2020 by members of the House (with the U.S. House Clerk) and senators (with the Senate Office of Public Records, eFD). Lists, counts and totals show listed securities by default: stocks (including ADRs), ETFs and options. Treasury bills and notes, municipal and corporate bonds, private companies, private funds, crypto and other assets appear with ?asset=all on the Politicians pages (asset=all or asset=other in the MCP tools). Amounts are the statutory ranges members report, such as $1,001-$15,000, not exact values. Scanned and paper reports are listed but not read. - Company filings: the list of 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, 20-F and 40-F filings and amendments since 2009, with 8-K item codes and links to the documents on SEC.gov. Livermore lists filings; it does not store their text. - Financial statements: income statement, balance sheet and cash flow from the XBRL data in 10-K, 10-Q, 20-F and 40-F filings, as filed, in the reporting currency (with approximate US dollar figures at FRED H.10 exchange rates for other currencies), with margins, year-over-year growth, the date results were reported (the first 8-K with Item 2.02) and the cover-page share count. Q4 and single-quarter cash flows are derived by subtraction and marked. Foreign companies that file Form 20-F or 40-F have annual statements only. - Short selling: FINRA short interest (twice a month since 2021, with days to cover), FINRA daily off-exchange short volume (last two years), FINRA weekly ATS (dark pool) and OTC volume, and SEC fails-to-deliver with the SEC's price. There is no short interest as a percent of float. - Market cap: each company's latest daily close times the shares outstanding on its latest 10-K or 10-Q cover page, adjusted for later stock splits and recalculated every US trading day after the close. Companies without a recent close or cover-page share count, foreign companies filing Form 20-F (their US shares are usually ADSs), companies whose cover lists several share classes separately, multi-fund ETP trusts whose products share one cover-page share count, and values below $1 million have none. - Politician profiles: official portraits, seat, party, leadership roles, current committee and subcommittee seats with titles, birthday, official website and social accounts, from the unitedstates project (public domain), refreshed daily; congressional district maps from the U.S. Census Bureau. - Taiwan stocks (through the MCP server only): stocks and ETFs listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx), with daily prices, institutional investors' buying and selling, margin trading, securities lending and foreign holding since 2021, monthly revenue since January 2013, quarterly financial statements from MOPS since 2013, dividends, company profiles written by AI from annual reports, production sites researched by AI, and the TPEx industry value chains. Taiwan's daily prices are government open data, so they are returned; the data is provided under Taiwan's Open Government Data License, version 1.0 (https://data.gov.tw/license), which requires naming the sources. Livermore's Taiwan website (tw.livermore.club) is in Traditional Chinese only and is not open to AI agents. - Updates: new SEC filings are loaded once a day after 11:30 PM US Eastern, market caps every weekday after the US market close and politicians' reports to Congress once a day at about 10:15 AM US Eastern; the ticker list is refreshed daily and the CUSIP-to-ticker mapping weekly. ## Main pages English pages start with /en/; the Traditional Chinese version of every page uses /zh/ instead (for example https://livermore.club/zh/stock/AAPL).
