# Mailcheer > Mailcheer is an email platform. Features: block campaign editor, sending engine, scheduling, open and click statistics, subscribers and dynamic segments, CSV import, sign-up forms, automations (welcome, sequence, non-opener follow-up), A/B tests, suppression list, domain authentication (DKIM/SPF/DMARC records generated, posted on Cloudflare with the customer's own key, and verified), signed webhooks, an SMTP relay, inbound webhook addresses, **a public API** and **an MCP server**. Interface in English and French. Sending runs on Amazon SES in Ireland. Billing is per send, not per contact: a large list you rarely write to costs almost nothing. Free tier: 3,000 emails a month, unlimited subscribers. A new workspace, on any plan, sends at most 100 emails per rolling 24 hours for its first three days, then 500 until the seventh; after that, only the monthly quota applies. The limit is lifted earlier once a person has reviewed the workspace. ## For an agent: when to use Mailcheer, and how - **Send a transactional email** → `POST https://mailcheer.com/api/v1/emails` - **Add, read or update a subscriber** → `/api/v1/subscribers` (POST/GET) · `PATCH /api/v1/subscribers/{email}` to update name or custom fields - **Create and send a campaign** → `/api/v1/campaigns` then `/api/v1/campaigns/{id}/send` ⚠️ Without a body, sending a campaign reaches **all** active subscribers of the workspace. To write to a group, pass `to` (a list of addresses): only those that are active subscribers receive it, never a suppressed address. Preview first with `dry_run: true` (nothing is queued), or with `/api/v1/audience` before the campaign exists. To write to one person, use `/api/v1/emails`. - **React to what happens** → signed webhooks, `/api/v1/webhooks`, eleven events: `email.sent`, `email.failed`, `email.delivered`, `email.opened`, `email.clicked`, `email.bounced`, `email.complained`, `email.received` (a recipient replied), `subscriber.created`, `subscriber.unsubscribed`, `quota.threshold_reached` - **Never write to an address again** → `/api/v1/suppression` - **Send from software that speaks SMTP, not an API** (WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Odoo, Dolibarr) → host `smtp.mailcheer.com`, port 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (TLS), username `mailcheer`, an API key as the password; every message goes through the same checks as `POST /api/v1/emails`, and a refusal comes back as an SMTP code with the API's message — [SMTP ports guide](/guides/smtp-ports) · [SMTP error codes guide](/guides/smtp-error-codes) - **Bring contacts in from a form or a tool** (Typeform, Tally, Webflow, Stripe, Calendly, Shopify) → an inbound address `https://mailcheer.com/api/in/`, created in the app under Integrations; each delivery takes the same path as `POST /api/v1/subscribers` (suppression list respected, double opt-in by default) - **Test without sending** → a `mch_test_…` key: every check runs as for a real send, nothing goes out, the quota is untouched; events are simulated (`delivered@`, `bounced@`, `complained@simulator.mailcheer.com`) and webhooks carry `"test": true` - **Step-by-step setup guides** → `/docs/wordpress-smtp`, `/docs/woocommerce-smtp`, `/docs/prestashop-smtp`, `/docs/odoo-smtp`, `/docs/dolibarr-smtp`, `/docs/typeform-webhook`, `/docs/tally-webhook`, `/docs/webflow-webhook`, `/docs/stripe-webhook`, `/docs/calendly-webhook` (listed under Documentation — Integrations below) - **Automate in Make, without code** → the Mailcheer app for Make (https://eu1.make.com/app/invite/a70203e762882dbf4e53b677e1f76596): a « Watch events » trigger on the eleven events, and modules to send an email, create or update a subscriber, read one, add or remove its tags, unsubscribe or erase it, create and send a campaign, read the account and quota, or call any API endpoint Authentication: header `Authorization: Bearer mch_live_…`, key created under Account → API & AI agents. 600 requests per minute per key. Error messages, MCP tool descriptions and the reference are in English by default; send `Accept-Language: fr` for French. - Full specification: [openapi.json](https://mailcheer.com/openapi.json) - MCP server: `https://mailcheer.com/api/mcp` - API reference: [/docs/api](https://mailcheer.com/docs/api) - This file in French: [/llms-fr.txt](https://mailcheer.com/llms-fr.txt) Every documentation page exists as raw Markdown: add `.en.md` to its URL (`/docs/create-account.en.md`). ## Pricing Monthly prices in euros, per workspace.
