# MobileValidate

> MobileValidate is a phone-number and e-mail intelligence API. One request checks whether a phone number (or e-mail address) is registered on messaging apps and online services, returns carrier and line type, live network status (HLR) and number portability (MNP) and, for approved customers, spam reputation. Each result is registered / not registered / unknown, or conclusive network attributes, with a checked_at timestamp. Numbers from sanctioned countries and regions are never checked or billed. Inconclusive results (unknown, unsupported country, timeout, invalid, duplicate) are not charged. Available via REST API, bulk jobs and an MCP server.

## Try it now (no signup)

Public sandbox key: `mv_test_publicSandboxn9ZgneuhR1B9CRfKG3fulym`. It is public by design: it answers only the documented test numbers and e-mail addresses, is never billed and is limited per IP (30/min, 1,000/day, jobs up to 10 rows, no webhooks). Other inputs return 403 sandbox_magic_only. In code, read the key from the environment variable `MOBILEVALIDATE_API_KEY`.
