# NailedIt.ai > An AI interview coach for job seekers, for any job. Name the job or paste the posting; an AI interviewer asks, listens and follows up out loud, then scores the transcript on five fixed dimensions. The Interview-Ready plan adds the weakest answers rewritten, the reasons each rewrite scores higher, and drills. A second mode rehearses the recorded one-way video interview (HireVue, Spark Hire, Willo and similar) against its timer. Practice only. Not affiliated with any employer or interview vendor. ## What this site is - One product with two modes and one scorecard format - Mode 1, the mock interview (the front door, / and /interview): a conversational AI interviewer for any role. It drafts its questions from the role title or job posting you give it, follows up on what you leave out. Microphone only; no camera - Four rounds in mode 1: the hiring manager interview (questions about the job itself); the recruiter screen (an AI recruiter asks why you're looking, what you want next, your salary range, current pay and the lowest number you'd take, your timing, and your questions; its scorecard flags disclosing current pay and never states a salary figure); and the salary negotiation (an AI recruiter calls with a verbal offer whose figures are made up for practice, pushes back on the counter, holds the base and sets a deadline; its scorecard flags accepting on the spot, asking for less than the offer, apologizing for asking and disclosing current pay, and never states a market rate); and the raise or promotion round (an AI manager meets you in a 1:1 you asked for, asks what's behind the ask, pushes back that the budget is set, can approve a small raise now for a specific ask backed by results, and moves the rest and any promotion to the review cycle; its scorecard flags ultimatums, a coworker's pay, apologizing for asking, personal need as the main reason and accepting "not now" with no date). Pick the round on /interview, or open /interview?round=screen, /interview?round=negotiate or /interview?round=raise - Practice one thing in mode 1 (on the Interview-Ready plan): one question on its own. The AI recruiter asks about one of these and follows up twice, the second follow-up the kind meant to trip you up: you and your background; why you're looking for a new job; your salary expectations; the gap in your work history; your moves between jobs; how your last job ended; the base pay on a job offer. It ends in a short note scored 0-100 on that one skill by the recruiter screen's or the salary negotiation's own standard, with the answer rewritten from what the candidate said and the change from their last score on that question. The gap and the firing are never asked why; how they are explained is scored, never the gap or the firing itself. Pick it on /interview, or open /interview?topic= with one of: tell-me-about-yourself, why-are-you-looking, salary-expectations, employment-gap, job-hopping, fired-or-laid-off, negotiate-the-counter - Mode 2, the recorded screen (/hirevue/practice/): a rehearsal of the one-way recorded video interview. A question appears, about 30 seconds to prepare, one take against a hard timer, nobody on the other end. The video is recorded in the browser and never uploaded - In both modes the words are transcribed and scored by an AI model against a rubric printed on the page. Every screen that shows a score says an AI produced it - The claim the product makes: run it again on the same role and the score on the same fixed rubric moves, or it does not. It never promises a job or predicts an employer's decision ## Free and paid - Free: two scored mocks in either mode, each with the overall score, all five dimension scores and the transcript; recorded-screen runs. Drills come with the Interview-Ready plan. So does practicing one question on its own. No card. An email is asked for when the first scorecard is ready - Paid: the Interview-Ready plan, $29 a month (intro price through October 31; regular $49). Join by October 31 and you keep $29 a month until you cancel. From November 1, new members pay $49 a month. As many scored mocks as you want, every month. It adds the coaching: why you lost points on each skill, the weakest answers rewritten with the reasons each rewrite scores higher, the drills and coaching library, and practice on one question at a time. Renews at $29 a month until you cancel. Cancel from your account page, and the next month won't be charged. Refund within 14 days of the first payment from a button on the account page, no reason required - Or the One-interview pass: $19 for 7 days of everything in the Interview-Ready plan. One payment. Nothing renews. Same refund button - https://nailedit.ai/pricing states the current offer and whether sales are open ## What a scorecard contains - Mock interview mode: five dimensions scored 0-100 each (answer structure, judgment and problem-solving, specificity and evidence, role relevance, communication and presence), with the overall as their mean; red flags; the two weakest answers rewritten using only what the candidate actually said, with the reasons each rewrite scores higher (Interview-Ready plan); one drill; and a transcript-measured delivery panel (seconds per answer, words per minute, filler count) computed deterministically from the transcript, not judged by a model. A second attempt on the same role shows the change from the first above the score - Recorded-screen mode: five dimensions scored 0-20 each (structure, commercial awareness, ownership, specificity, concision), summing to 100; timed-delivery facts measured in the browser (prep window used, time used of the cap, dead air, takes the timer cut off); up to three answers re-cut from the candidate's own words; one drill - A worked, invented example of the recorded-screen scorecard: https://nailedit.ai/hirevue/sample-scorecard/ - Every scorecard prints, above the number, that it is not a prediction about any hiring decision; the recorded-screen scorecard adds that it is not compared to other users ## What this site is not - Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HireVue, Spark Hire, Willo, any other interview vendor, or any employer named anywhere on it - Not a source of any employer's actual interview questions. Nobody outside the employer has those, and this site does not claim to. The mock interview's questions are AI-drafted from the role you give it and are labeled practice only - Not usable during a live assessment. It is rehearsal beforehand, and nothing else - Not a prediction about a hiring decision, and never a promise of one - Not a judgment of a face, a voice, an accent or a tone. Only the transcript is scored - Not a person. The interviewer and the grader are AI models, labeled as such on every screen they appear on ## Employer and vendor pages - Employer pages under /hirevue/ are built from the competencies each employer publishes about itself, with the source and the date it was read printed next to every claim; where an employer publishes nothing on a point the page says so instead of guessing - A vendor is named on an employer page only where that employer names it in its own material - Vendor pages (HireVue, Spark Hire, Willo, Hireflix, Talview, Modern Hire) describe each recorded-interview format from the vendor's own published candidate material - Glassdoor and Reddit are not used, cited, linked or quoted anywhere on this site ## Privacy, in a few facts - Mock interview mode: an AI model asks the questions and scores the transcript, a speech-to-text model turns your voice into text, the voice you hear is AI text-to-speech, and no camera is used - The transcript and its scorecard are kept 365 days after the last activity (90 for practice started before 2026-09-28) and can be deleted from the session itself - Recorded-screen mode: the video is recorded in the browser and never uploaded; the audio is sent once to be turned into text and then dropped; the text is what gets scored -
