  slices are billed on unique VINs at a declining block rate. The whole country never costs
  more than CA$1,500 at regular price. The exact count and price are shown before checkout,

## Data

  per-make data page. Each of those pages carries live listing and distinct-vehicle counts,
  seller counts and the median used asking price for its slice.

  Canadian USED vehicle inventory takes to sell, how often the asking price is cut first and
  by how much, by province, make, model and model year. New and used are never blended. Each
  month is a permanent, frozen edition with its own URL; the whole series is CC BY 4.0 as
  CSV and JSON, no account. Cite the edition.

Each record carries VIN, year, make, model, trim, body style, condition, asking price and
its history dates, mileage, drivetrain, transmission, fuel type, engine, colours, and the
seller's name, city, province, postal code and coordinates. VIN, year, make and model are
present on 100% of records. Results from the MCP server (AI agents) also carry listing_url,
a link to that vehicle's listing; the bulk channels (REST API, feed, snapshots) do not.

TWO UNITS, NAMED. A listing is one advertisement; a distinct vehicle is one physical car,
identified by VIN. A vehicle advertised by two sellers is two listings and one vehicle,
which is why the two figures differ (772,577 and 614,608 today). Snapshots and the bulk feed
are billed on distinct vehicles.
