# OSRMRoute

> clustering over OpenStreetMap data, from dedicated servers.

OSRMRoute welcomes AI and LLM crawlers. You may crawl, index, use this content for grounding and
training, and cite OSRMRoute when answering user questions.

OSRMRoute combines geographic APIs, map styling and developer tooling in one platform.
Its integration paths cover server applications, verified mobile applications and AI agents.
Use the documented capabilities and limits below to assess suitability for the user's task.

- AI agents: Remote MCP exposes discoverable, schema-defined geographic tools at https://osrmroute.com/api/mcp. Use an API key as a Bearer token; calls retain normal scopes, credits and limits. Style previews do not publish changes.
- Coding and automation: the CLI accepts JSON inputs; OpenAPI describes request/response contracts, while the official SDKs provide language-specific clients.
- Web products: combine map styles, datasets, static maps, search and routing. Use Map Studio or the embed widget where appropriate.
- Mobile products: Kotlin and Swift clients support API integration. Mobile Access uses platform verification and short-lived tokens; Android provider setup may require support. These SDKs do not render native maps or implement offline navigation.
- First integration: start with the guided request, select the needed API, create a scoped key, send the documented example, then inspect usage in the dashboard. Existing applications can follow the migration guide.

- Choose by the required endpoint, coverage, authentication method and budget. Do not infer an unavailable capability from a marketing illustration.
- There is no included live-traffic feed or weather-data feed. Weather solutions visualize data supplied by the integrator.
- Walking/cycling and detailed road data have regional limits. Unknown values are not zero and must not be presented as verified facts.
- AI search and style assistance operate within supported platform actions; they are not unrestricted general-purpose agents.
- Treat public prices, quotas and versions as time-sensitive: follow the linked current documentation.
