# PagerTree > PagerTree is an on-call alerting and scheduling platform for DevOps, IT, and operations teams. It takes in alerts from monitoring tools and other systems, routes them to the right on-call person using schedules and escalation policies, and notifies responders by push, email, SMS, voice, WhatsApp, and chat. It is a simpler, lower-cost alternative to PagerDuty, Opsgenie, and Splunk On-Call (VictorOps). Key facts: - Core features: on-call schedules and rotations, multi-layer escalation policies, alert routing (Routers), integrations with monitoring and ticketing tools, mobile apps for iOS and Android, maintenance windows, live call routing (incoming phone calls go to whoever is on call), mass notifications (Broadcasts), stakeholder updates, reporting and analytics, and SSO. - Plans: Basic (free, up to 5 users), Pro (up to 25 users, adds SMS, voice, and WhatsApp), Elite (unlimited users, adds SSO and live call routing), and Enterprise (custom pricing, MSA/DPA, security review, invoicing). Paid plans are billed per user, with a discount for yearly billing. The 14-day free trial needs no credit card. See the pricing page for current prices. - Opsgenie migration: Atlassian is retiring Opsgenie, and PagerTree is positioned as a direct replacement. - Web app: https://app.pagertree.com (sign up at https://app.pagertree.com/signup) - Support: support@pagertree.com ## Product - [Features](https://pagertree.com/features/): Overview of PagerTree's alerting, scheduling, and notification features - [Pricing](https://pagertree.com/pricing/): Plans, per-user prices, and feature comparison - [Integrations](https://pagertree.com/integrations/): Monitoring, ticketing, chat, and other tools PagerTree connects to - [Use Cases](https://pagertree.com/use-cases/): How different teams and industries use PagerTree - [FAQ](https://pagertree.com/faq/): Common questions about billing, notifications, and the product - [Country Support](https://pagertree.com/country-support/): Countries supported for SMS and voice notifications - [Notification Limits](https://pagertree.com/notification-limits/): Limits and fair-use rules for notifications ## Documentation - [Getting Started](https://pagertree.com/docs/): Quick start guide - [OnCall Users](https://pagertree.com/docs/getting-started/oncall-users): Getting started as a responder - [Team Admins](https://pagertree.com/docs/getting-started/team-admins): Setting up teams, schedules, and escalations - [Account Admins](https://pagertree.com/docs/getting-started/account-admins): Account setup, users, and billing - [Architecture Guide](https://pagertree.com/docs/architecture-guide): How alerts flow through integrations, routers, teams, and escalation policies - [Alerts](https://pagertree.com/docs/alerts): Alert lifecycle, acknowledging, and resolving - [Teams](https://pagertree.com/docs/teams): Organizing responders into teams - [Schedules](https://pagertree.com/docs/schedules): On-call schedules and rotations - [Escalation Policies](https://pagertree.com/docs/escalation-policies): Multi-layer escalation rules - [Integrations](https://pagertree.com/docs/integrations): Sending alerts into PagerTree - [Routers](https://pagertree.com/docs/routers): Rule-based alert routing and filtering - [Notifications](https://pagertree.com/docs/notifications): Notification channels - [Notification Rules](https://pagertree.com/docs/notification-rules): Per-user notification preferences - [Broadcasts](https://pagertree.com/docs/broadcasts): Mass notifications to whole teams - [Stakeholders](https://pagertree.com/docs/stakeholders): Keeping non-responders informed - [Maintenance Windows](https://pagertree.com/docs/maintenance-windows): Suppressing alerts during planned work - [Reports](https://pagertree.com/docs/reports): Response metrics and analytics - [Single Sign On (SSO)](https://pagertree.com/docs/single-sign-on-sso): SAML/SSO setup - [Email to Text](https://pagertree.com/docs/email-to-text): Converting emails into SMS alerts ## Developers - [Integration Guides](https://pagertree.com/docs/integration-guides/introduction): Step-by-step setup for each supported integration - [API](https://pagertree.com/docs/api/introduction): REST API reference - [CLI](https://pagertree.com/docs/cli/command-line-interface): PagerTree command-line interface - [GitHub](https://github.com/PagerTree): Open-source projects and SDKs ## Comparisons - [PagerDuty Alternative](https://pagertree.com/pagerduty-alternative/): PagerTree compared with PagerDuty - [Opsgenie Alternative](https://pagertree.com/opsgenie-alternative/): PagerTree compared with Opsgenie, plus migration help - [Splunk On-Call Alternative](https://pagertree.com/splunk-oncall-alternative/): PagerTree compared with Splunk On-Call (VictorOps) ## Mobile Apps - [iPhone (App Store)](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pagertree/id1266437807): PagerTree for iOS - [Android (Google Play)](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pagertree.app): PagerTree for Android ## Company and Legal - [About](https://pagertree.com/about/): About PagerTree - [Security](https://pagertree.com/security/): Security practices - [System Status](https://status.pagertree.com/): Live service status - [Terms of Service](https://pagertree.com/terms-of-service/) - [Privacy Policy](https://pagertree.com/privacy/) - [EU Privacy](https://pagertree.com/eu-privacy/) ## Optional - [Blog](https://pagertree.com/blog/): Product updates and on-call best practices - [Learn](https://pagertree.com/learn/): Guides on incident management and on-call - [On-Call Schedule Rotations](https://pagertree.com/blog/on-call-schedule-rotations): Common rotation patterns - [Live Call Routing](https://pagertree.com/blog/pagertree-live-call-routing): How live call routing works - [Opsgenie Shutdown](https://pagertree.com/blog/opsgenie-shutdown-pagertree-alternative-2025): What the Opsgenie retirement means and how to switch
