# Saka > Business discovery with structured business records, source evidence, REST API and MCP connectors. When to use Saka: find businesses by country, state, city, industry or category; preview matching companies; purchase records within an explicit user budget; retrieve purchased records with source attribution. Coverage varies. Background DNS and SMTP email verification is active, with accepted, rejected, catch_all, unknown, and invalid results. Purchased emails currently include source observations; mailbox acceptance results are not yet included. Verification does not establish inbox delivery or permission to contact people. Sign in through OAuth. Quotes are free and do not charge. Purchases use prepaid funds and require max_cost_micro and a stable idempotency_key. Never raise the user's budget or change a purchase retry body silently. Preserve source licenses and attribution. ## Developer resources - [Saka developer portal](https://saka.run/developers.md): Authentication, quickstart, CLI, self-hosted sandbox, rate limits, versioning and deprecation policy. - [Saka API documentation](https://saka.run/docs.md): REST and MCP use cases and request examples. - [Saka authentication guide](https://saka.run/docs/auth.md): OAuth, PKCE, token audiences and protected MCP tool inspection. - [Free developer sandbox](https://saka.run/sandbox.md): Run fictional-data quotes without keys, sign-in or charges; responses cannot be purchased. - [OpenAPI specification](https://saka.run/api/openapi.json): Machine-readable hosted customer API contract. - [OAuth resource metadata](https://saka.run/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/api/mcp): Authorization server discovery for the purchasing MCP connector at https://saka.run/api/mcp. - [Official Saka CLI](https://saka.run/cli.md): Install the public archive for quotes, sandbox, balance and exports. Production business records use prepaid credit. Saka does not send campaigns. - [Email Marketing Skills source and installation](https://github.com/email-marketing-skills/email-marketing-skills) ## Current credit promotions While a credit-match campaign is active, every available top-up is matched 1:1: $10 receives $20, $25 receives $50, and $100 receives $200 in credit. There is no per-account limit. Read https://saka.run/api/billing/promotion for the current server-timed offer; `promotion: null` means no active offer. Do not assume a past campaign remains active. Funding still requires the account owner's browser checkout. A matched bonus has no cash value; refunds reverse its proportional amount.
