# SecFeed > SecFeed is an API for SEC EDGAR data: every filing since 1993 as clean JSON, plus insider trades (Forms 3, 4, 5), 13F holdings back to 1999, 13D/13G stakes back to 1994, 8-K events by item, XBRL financial statements, 10-K/10-Q/8-K section text, Forms D, C, 144 and Reg A, fund filings (N-PORT, N-CEN, N-PX), IPO terms, executive compensation, SEC enforcement releases and more. Newer datasets cover board oversight, director pay, pay governance, severance, shareholder rights, ESG oversight, compliance signals, vote standards, shareholder proposals and proxy contests, proxy ownership tables, fund reorganizations, auditor's reports and structured SEC enforcement actions. It also offers a real-time filing stream, webhooks, bulk datasets, Python and Node.js SDKs and an MCP server for AI agents. SecFeed is independent and not affiliated with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Most data is parsed from public filings by deterministic software. The board, pay, voting, ownership table, fund reorganization, audit report and enforcement action datasets are extracted from filing text by an AI model and validated against a fixed schema; they are being filled newest first from 2020 onward. Every record links back to SEC.gov.
