# Shingou

> Shingou is a point-in-time crypto market sentiment API for trading bots: one signal per symbol per hour (score in [-1, 1], confidence, direction, dominant events, sources), with history you can backtest without lookahead bias.

The differentiator is verifiability, not the score. History buckets carry as-of timestamps and a "reconstructed" flag on backfilled data, every signal links the stories behind it (top_sources), and every hourly bucket's hash is committed to a public append-only log at publish time. No-lookahead is checkable rather than asserted. Commercial use is included on every paid plan.
