# Tanod > Tanod (Filipino for a village watchman) is a set of pay-per-call tools for AI agents and developers, > over HTTP and MCP (301 MCP tools and 308 paid API routes): documents and PDFs to Markdown, tables, Word or CSV; live market data; web pages, > search and DNS; chain reads; and security checks. Results are automated; it does not promise safety. > > - pactlint (contract scan): static analysis of Solidity source or a verified contract on > Ethereum or Base. solc + Slither + custom detectors for recurring DeFi bug classes > (unchecked ERC-20 returns, zero slippage, stale oracle reads, ERC-4626 inflation, signature > replay, ...), triaged into a fixed JSON report. > - txpeek (pre-transaction check): address in, risk verdict out in about a second, for an agent > about to send a transaction, approve or buy a token. > - toolsniff (skill and MCP server scanner): static scan of an AI-agent skill or MCP server > package (npm, PyPI, GitHub, ClawHub or an upload) before you install it. > > Pay per call in USDC on Base or Polygon or Solana or BNB Chain or Arbitrum with x402, or on Tempo with MPP, or in sats over Lightning with L402; no account or API key. 3 free scans (or > 30 txpeek checks) per IP per UTC day: over HTTP, add the header > `X-Tanod-Free: 1` to an unpaid call (without it every unpaid call gets the 402); over MCP > the free tier is automatic. > Every result is automated and heuristic, not an audit: findings can be false positives, and a clean result is not proof that code or a package is free of risk. > Tanod is operated by an autonomous AI agent on behalf of its owner. Scans run automatically; no person reviews individual results. ## Start here - Every route, price, free pool and schema link: [llms-full.txt](https://tanod.dev/llms-full.txt). - [OpenAPI spec](https://tanod.dev/openapi.json): executable request examples, `x-payment-info` and `info.x-guidance`. - Connect the MCP server for your task: [task servers](https://tanod.dev/connect/#single-task), or a family below. Use `https://tanod.dev/mcp` (server `tanod`) only for the whole catalogue. All use stateless streamable HTTP, the same tools, prices and free tier. PaymentRequired is in an error result's `structuredContent`; retry with the payment in `_meta["x402/payment"]`. - Discovery: `https://tanod.dev/.well-known/x402`, `https://tanod.dev/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`. ## Families Each family has its own OpenAPI document, llms.txt and MCP server. - **Pre-transaction Safety Checks (Tanod)**: Safety checks before you sign, pay or install: contract, token and package scans, phishing, OFAC. 27 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/security`, 28 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/security.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/security/llms.txt) - **EVM & Solana Chain Reads (Tanod)**: Read EVM and Solana chains for balances, tokens, eth_call, logs, receipts, gas, blocks and ENS. 40 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/chain`, 41 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/chain.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/chain/llms.txt) - **Aviation & Space Weather Data (Tanod)**: Flight and sky conditions for agents, from METAR/TAF and airports to aurora and satellite passes. 15 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/sky`, 15 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/sky.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/sky/llms.txt) - **Crypto & Macro Market Data (Tanod)**: Market data for agents: token prices, DeFi TVL and DEX volume, perp funding, FX, yields, SEC data. 31 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/finance`, 31 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/finance.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/finance/llms.txt) - **PDF & Office Tools (Tanod)**: Bank statement PDF to CSV, OCR, Office to PDF, PDF to Word, any file to Markdown, merge and split. 40 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/docs`, 40 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/docs.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/docs/llms.txt) - **Image Resize & Convert Tools (Tanod)**: Edit images in one call: resize, convert, compress, crop, metadata, favicons, QR codes, OCR. 22 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/images`, 22 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/images.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/images/llms.txt) - **Text Analysis & Cleanup Tools (Tanod)**: Analyse and clean up text: stats, language, keywords, summary, sentiment, PII redaction, diff. 26 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/text`, 26 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/text.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/text/llms.txt) - **Developer Utilities & Validators (Tanod)**: Cloud GPU prices per hour, plus developer helpers: hash, HMAC, JWT, IDs, JSON, cron, time zones. 40 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/util`, 41 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/util.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/util/llms.txt) - **Web Reader & Search (Tanod)**: Web search for agents: page to Markdown, screenshots, news search, metadata, sitemaps and RDAP. 40 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/web`, 40 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/web.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/web/llms.txt) - **Embeddings, Rerank & Speech-to-Text (Tanod)**: Speech denoise, transcripts (SRT/VTT), embeddings, reranking, entities and translation. 19 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/ml`, 19 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/ml.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/ml/llms.txt) - **x402 & MCP Server Index (Tanod)**: x402 endpoint and MCP server index: find paid APIs for agents, x402 checks and price benchmarks. 29 MCP tools at `https://tanod.dev/mcp/agents`, 29 HTTP routes: [OpenAPI](https://tanod.dev/openapi/agents.json), [llms.txt](https://tanod.dev/families/agents/llms.txt) ## Pricing and payment - Exact prices, tiers, free pools and limits: [route index](https://tanod.dev/llms-full.txt#pricing-and-payment) and each OpenAPI operation's `x-payment-info` / `x-tanod-pricing`; prices come from the running service. - HTTP free calls require `X-Tanod-Free: 1` (or `true`); `X-Free-Remaining-Today` reports the balance. Without opt-in, or after the pool is used up, unpaid requests get 402 and consume nothing. MCP applies free pools automatically. - x402 v2, scheme `exact`: sign a requirement from `PAYMENT-REQUIRED` and retry with `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE` (or `X-PAYMENT`); receipts use `PAYMENT-RESPONSE` / `X-PAYMENT-RESPONSE`. The header may abbreviate discovery examples and annotations; the JSON body keeps full metadata and names every network, payee and atomic amount. - MPP on Tempo works too: the same `402` also carries `WWW-Authenticate: Payment` (method `tempo`, intent `charge`, USDC.e on Tempo, chain 4217; the amount is the x402 price). Pay it with mppx, the Tempo CLI or AgentCash and retry with `Authorization: Payment `; the receipt comes back in `Payment-Receipt`. Same charge policy as x402. Guide: https://tanod.dev/learn/pay-api-with-mpp-tempo.html - L402 (Lightning) works too: the same `402` also carries `WWW-Authenticate: L402 macaroon="...", invoice="..."` (a separate header line). Pay the BOLT11 invoice (the x402 USD price in sats at a cached BTC/USD rate) and retry with `Authorization: L402 :`. One token pays for one call of that route at that price. Same charge policy as x402. - Invalid unpaid input quotes the base price with an error; fix it before paying. Valid input quotes its exact price. Invalid paid input is refused without using the payment. A wrong amount gets a new 402 (`price_mismatch`), never settled. - Charge policy: https://tanod.dev/payments/terms.json. Retry/idempotency and financial-retention rules: [payment details](https://tanod.dev/llms-full.txt#pricing-and-payment). [Privacy](https://tanod.dev/privacy/). ## Market price data What other x402 sellers charge per call, by category, from Tanod's daily index of the x402 Bazaar: [x402-category-prices.json](https://tanod.dev/data/x402-category-prices.json); guides per category are linked from [llms-full.txt](https://tanod.dev/llms-full.txt). ## About - Reports carry a fixed disclaimer.
