# Tektolo > Reliable tools for real-world operations work. Each tool is a tested engine with cited rules; use it from the web, the API, or your AI assistant. Every result is computed by rules from structured inputs, carries its assumptions and sources, and is available over REST and MCP. Where a tool reads free text, an AI model may turn it into findings; the result marks those findings for review, and the AI never sets a number. The same structured input under the same ruleset always gives the same result. Tools are grouped by domain (the world a tool operates in); each lists its audiences and, when it is part of one, its workflow step. All tools: https://tektolo.com/tools/ ## Rental property (domain: rental-property) Free tools for the move-out: what the turn costs, what to return from the deposit, and whether a deposit came back on time. Agents and software get a free tier of 20 calls a day, then $0.02 a call. Some tools will add paid features. The paid lane is in testing today; until it opens, the free tier applies. Counted: deposit_settlement_settle (and its downloads), property_turnover_quick_estimate, property_turnover_scope (and its downloads). REST and MCP calls share one count per client per UTC day and the same price per call; the paid lane is REST only. Over the limit the REST route answers HTTP 429 (error free_tier_exhausted) with the reset time and the paid route, and an MCP tool returns the same message as a tool error. Responses under the limit carry X-TK-Free-Remaining. The web tools have their own allowance (50 estimates a day), separate from this tier. Volume or an integration: https://tektolo.com/contact ## Machine-readable - [catalog.json](https://tektolo.com/catalog.json): every capability with its domain, audiences, workflow, operations, JSON Schemas, pricing, privacy, limitations and ruleset hashes - [OpenAPI](https://tektolo.com/openapi.json): REST API description (OpenAPI 3.1) - [API catalog](https://tektolo.com/.well-known/api-catalog): RFC 9727 linkset of the above - [MCP server](https://tektolo.com/mcp): Model Context Protocol endpoint (streamable HTTP, no authentication in the free tier); one tool per operation - [Rental property only](https://tektolo.com/mcp/rental-property): just this domain's tools, a smaller tool list for the assistant to carry - [MCP server card](https://tektolo.com/mcp/server-card): connection metadata for MCP clients ## Paid lane (x402, testnet) Pay-per-call routes for agents that need more than the daily free tier (20 calls a day per client). Same request and result as the free route. x402 v2, exact scheme, USDC on Base Sepolia testnet (test money only, no real charges). Unpaid calls get HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header; retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. Only successful results are charged.
