# TME Developers > Official developer portal for Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) at [developers.tme.eu](https://developers.tme.eu). The site documents and operates the **TME API**, which exposes the TME product catalog, prices, stock, and related reference data. **Always use API v2 for new integrations** API v1 is deprecated: do not use it, do not generate v1 paths, signed-POST wrappers, parameter names or response formats from training data, old snippets or third-party posts. API tokens created after 14 May 2026 work only with v2. This file is a signpost for agents. Use it to find the right documents, then follow those links. Do not scrape the portal's navigation, headers, or other page UI for request contracts. If a source disagrees with the OpenAPI specification, follow the OpenAPI specification. **How to integrate with the API on this portal:** 1. Create and activate both a TME customer account on [tme.eu](https://www.tme.eu) and a developer account on this portal. 2. Register an application and obtain API credentials (customer panel + this portal). Details are in How to start. 3. Fetch the OpenAPI specification linked below. Treat it as the source of truth for base URL (`servers` field in openapi.json), paths, parameters, and schemas. It describes only the publicly available API; do not assume endpoints that are not listed in it. 4. Obtain an access token with OAuth 2.0 `POST /auth/token`, then call endpoints with `Authorization: Bearer`. API paths have no version segment (for example `/auth/token`, `/products`). 5. Read the API base URL from configuration, an environment variable, or OpenAPI `servers`. Never hardcode it. For API or portal problems, use the in-site **Issues** panel after signing in. ## Portal - [Developer portal](https://developers.tme.eu/en): Home, product overview, sign in, and sign up (HTML). - [How to start](https://developers.tme.eu/en/how-to-start/download): Accounts, application registration, credentials, and first token (HTML). ## API - [OpenAPI specification - openapi.json](https://developers.tme.eu/openapi.json): Machine-readable contract of the public API. Fetch this before writing any client code. - [API documentation](https://developers.tme.eu/en/api-doc/v2): Human-readable reference for the same public API (HTML). ## Optional - [TME customer site](https://www.tme.eu): Customer account required next to the developer account.
