# webcapture > webcapture is a URL to PDF API: one REST call (or one MCP tool call) renders a public web page to a > print-stable PDF with headless Chromium (Chromium 151.0.7922.34 driven by Patchright (the Playwright 1.62 API), checked 2026-09-19). Output formats: PDF (A4, tagged, > headers/footers, scale, page ranges), full-page or viewport PNG/JPEG/WebP screenshots, and clean Markdown > extraction. Signed webhooks (Pro and Scale) notify your pipeline when a render lands. Challenge-aware retries > handle pages behind bot protection; hard targets are out of scope by design.
